The Joker Bug 800, designed around a UV-block bulb requested by K5600, was the first unit of this wattage introduced on the market.

We designed this fixture to take full advantage of the large reflective material inside a lightbank : in this configuation, it provides 50% more output than a regular PAR 1200W, and a better spread of the light thanks to the bare-bulb design of the Bug-Lite.
2 beamers available
Like the Joker-Bug 1600W, the Joker-Bug 800W can be used with 2 different beamers : The PAR beamer : it features specular reflector, and can be used with the classic set of 4 lenses supplied in all Joker-Bug kits (Medium, Wide, Super Wide and Frosted Fresnel).
The Zoom Beamer : consist of a segmented reflector which is focusable from 15 to 55 degrees.
High Speed
The 800W comes with a dimmable ballast, which is able to work at 300 or 1000 Hz frequency for High Speed shootings.
Convenience
Coming in a hard case like the other units of the range, the 800W is easy to carry during your trips. The complete kit weighs only 22 kilos, and this handy light source, perfect for tiny spaces, can be run on the domestic electrical supply.
